One Week, One Band, One Sound
According to some of its members, the Central High School Yellow Jackets Marching band, of Louisville, Kentucky, is "the reason why people come to the games." During Summer 2015, the band converged at Lions Camp Crescendo, in Lebanon, Kentucky, to prepare for the upcoming season. The camp's ora, which was void of Internet and television, was new to the band members and somewhat challenging. Nevertheless, band director, Thomas Cheatham, was happy with the outcome of the weeklong, home-away camp.
