Alyssa Pointer is a native Georgian that resides and works in Atlanta, Georgia. She studied photojournalism and African American studies at Western Kentucky University. She is a skilled documentarian with 5 years of combined experience working as a staff newspaper photojournalist at the Chicago Tribune and the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
